Hi Everyone! Thank you for your interest in Yoga. I began practicing Yoga in 2000 and as I look back upon my journey I can see how transformational it has been. Not only do I no longer have back pain but also I have a greater sense of peace and contentment. The physical practice, being aware of my body’s messages, sensations and guidance from teachers gave me information. With this information I learned that I could self-regulate, feel the feeling and be with what is. Being with what is instead of running, numbing, or resisting (which caused more stress and strain) allowed me to move into a space of acceptance, more understanding of the role I play, and growth. This is a continual process for me, always questioning and inquiring within myself. I am eternally grateful for being guided to this ancient healing practice. I look forward to meeting you on the mat, practicing together, and awakening to the gift of harmony and wholeness that’s always available.
